Video taking off 8.6x its usual first day

Alli Ingram's 'LIKE GO PLAY!' sends viewers back to math class

Her comment section turned into a swap of stories about teachers who stand over your desk, while an older school short crossed a million views.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 663,815 views a day, 8.6 times a normal first day on this channel (77,505).

"LIKE GO PLAY! 😭" went up on October 6 and drew more than 660,000 views in its first 24 hours, roughly eight times what a new short from Alli Ingram usually gathers on its first day.

The title doesn't spell out the joke, but the tags do: this is a school lip-sync, filed under comedy and relatable. The comments fill in the rest. Most viewers read it as the teacher who leans over your shoulder while you work, and many of them name the subject: math. The most liked comment asks her straight out whether her math teacher hovers too, and it pulled in a long thread of replies.

Others trade their survival tactics. One viewer reads the same problem aloud over and over until the substitute wanders off. Another keeps solving the same answer again so the teacher sees motion on the page.

School is the running thread of her week. "What grade are you in?", posted two days earlier, has now passed a million views. In between she went live twice, once for a get-ready-with-me session with the person her stream title calls "momma Ingram." The channel added about 14,000 subscribers over the week and now stands at 771,000.

Her about page puts the ambition plainly: actress, dancer, singer, and then writer, director and producer too. On a channel built on short classroom bits, the writing part is already doing a lot of the work.
