A cup in the microwave and a resigned dog: Alli Ingram's 'I forget everything'

"I forget everything" went up on October 1 and became Alli Ingram's most watched new short of the week, passing 600,000 views. The premise is simple, and the comments show why it travels: half the replies say "literally me." The most liked one asks viewers to share a time they forgot something important, and people answered with stories of their own, from bowling shoes worn out of the alley to a kettle boiled for no reason anyone could remember. Others were more interested in the details of the clip, like why the cup was in the microwave at all, and the dog that seems to have simply accepted its fate.

It was one of fifteen shorts in a busy week, all built on the formula her channel runs on: a lip-sync, a relatable moment and a pile of hashtags. Several are couple sketches with her regular co-star, and a few, including "Am I clingy?", lean on that pairing. The upload moving fastest right now is "What grade are you in?", a school bit from October 4 that took about 320,000 views in its first day.

The channel as a whole ran slower than usual, at a little over half its normal daily pace. That still put it third in its comedy group for views gained over the week. Biggy Bailey and Kountry Wayne had the biggest weeks there, and Stevie Knows was running well above its usual pace. Alli, meanwhile, is still adding around 4,000 subscribers a day.
