XO, MaCenna's broken-things corner gets a black-painted reset

A saved gate plank and a rediscovered mosaic tabletop give an older repair Short a second life during an upload-free week.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

PLEASEEE tell me I’m not the only one that has a corner of broken things?? 🏡 Repairing our gate!!

A fallen tree limb broke the garden gate, but MaCenna kept the damaged plank. In the repair Short drawing the most daily views on XO, MaCenna right now, that saved piece goes back into place with wood glue, clamps and painter's tape.

There were no new uploads this week. Instead, this June project supplies the channel's busiest little transformation: she hoses down the brick path, trims the foliage, fills the gate's gouges and paints it satin black. A round mosaic tabletop finds a home on an empty metal plant stand, too. Then the cleanup reveals a missing brick in the neighboring pillar. "I do one project, I find another one to do," she says.

The channel added roughly 67,000 views over the week, with subscribers unchanged. Daily viewing is below its usual level. Among nearby home-and-DIY channels, Homeworthy and 731 Woodworks had much busier weeks and both added subscribers.

The European cottage guest bathroom also continues to draw views, particularly the completed transformation we covered earlier. Its dark wood stain, hardware and styling are the finishing touches; for the moment, though, MaCenna's most active upload is the smaller repair with one brick left to replace.
