Shanghai's playoffs have reached the channel, and the first day of them is pulling a far bigger crowd than the group stage did. "PRX vs. LOUD — VALORANT Champions Shanghai — Playoffs Stage — Day 11" went past 1.5 million views in its first 14 hours. The Day 10 group stage replay, as we reported here, needed a full day to pass a million.

The pairing explains some of the pull. Paper Rex, the Singapore side known for one of the most aggressive styles in the game, met LOUD, the Brazilian club that won the world title in 2022. Both bring big, loud fan bases, and both turned up in the comments.

The Paper Rex supporters sound resigned more than angry. Several joke about a playoff script they say they know by heart, one apologizes to their own pick'em bracket, and others simply send the team their support. Further down, the talk has already moved on: viewers sketch out a final among LOUD, 100 Thieves and NRG, and some are counting on an Americas team taking the trophy. The most liked comment is a familiar one on this channel, a spoiler shield for anyone who has not watched yet.
