Conditions inside a National Guard property near Kyiv are to be investigated following clashes outside, Ukraine's Television News Service (TSN) reports. The checks concern the treatment of military personnel at a private house in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, a village outside the capital.
According to the report's description, ambulance personnel told police that men inside were in serious condition after being beaten, but that medical staff were being denied access. A crowd subsequently gathered, and the broadcaster reports disorder and attacks on National Guard personnel. Footage shows a woman wearing medical clothing kneeling before police officers in the street.
The National Guard and Azov give a different account of the property's purpose: they say it housed mobilized personnel and soldiers detained after leaving their units without authorization. The National Guard is part of Ukraine's Interior Ministry. The report says presidential office chief Kyrylo Budanov, National Guard commander Oleksandr Pivnenko and military ombudsman Olha Reshetylova attended the scene.
The segment also cites reporting by investigative outlet Slidstvo.Info about the woman presenting herself as a doctor on behalf of Medprestige, but does not establish the medical-access allegations as an investigative finding.
Azov commander Denys Prokopenko argues that the surrounding information campaign serves Russia's interest in dividing Ukrainian society from its military. That is his assessment of the controversy, not a conclusion from the announced checks. The report announces scrutiny of the conditions inside the house, without presenting a final finding on responsibility.
