A radio wing and a range day: T.REX ARMS asks viewers to practice with their kit
The Tennessee gear maker's one new video puts comms on a plate carrier, while a 23-day-old Multicam chest rig film draws the most daily views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Don't just own kit. Practice with it.
Twenty-three days old and only now finding its stride, the "Multicam Quad Flap Chest Rig" video is the one T.REX ARMS viewers keep reaching for. On a channel that mostly shows off what its Middle Tennessee shop designs and sews, a plain look at a chest rig in camouflage is doing the heaviest lifting.
The week's single upload took a different angle. "Don't just own kit. Practice with it." is about communications: radios, a radio wing on a cummerbund, and a range day built around talking to each other, with Austin Miller named in the tags. The title is the argument, and it fits a company that describes its customers as serious citizens rather than collectors. It has passed 11,000 views so far.
The Ready Rig 2.0 film from nine days ago holds the biggest total of the recent batch, close to 89,000 views, and it is still drawing nearly as many daily views as the Multicam rig. The short "6 Close, 2 Far," a drill with Brandon on the tags, ticks along behind them.
Overall the channel is running a little below its usual daily pace, and subscriber gains have gone flat for now. That puts it among the quieter members of its corner, where Skallagrim, The Tank Museum and Military Arms Channel are also below their norm, while TAOFLEDERMAUS, sootch00 and Black Rifle Coffee Company are having busier stretches. With hosts Isaac Botkin and Brandon Wombough, T.REX ARMS remains one of the larger channels in that group by subscribers.
