A retired Delta Force officer tries the Arizona Regulator for MAC

Lt. Col. Jeff Tiegs got the trigger in a week that also set Century Arms' Sterling clone beside an original MK6.

On an ordinary day, Military Arms Channel's library draws something near 186,000 views. The days around its two new uploads ran well under that, closer to 105,000, so the range was a little quieter than usual.

The first upload was a side-by-side for the collectors. Century Arms' Sterling Type II, a 9mm carbine, went up against an original Sterling MK6 semi-auto. The Sterling submachine gun was the British Army's standard SMG for decades, and its side-mounted magazine and perforated barrel shroud are familiar well beyond the military world. The comparison opened with about 34,000 views on its first day.

Two days later came a guest. Lt. Col. Jeff Tiegs, retired from Delta Force, took a turn with the Arizona Regulator, a single function trigger. It is a return to familiar ground: "My favorite use for FRT's," posted about six weeks ago and built around the same trigger, is still pulling in steady views.

The video doing the real work is older than both new uploads, though only by nine days. "Production Lima Six belt fed upper with a FRT" shows a production belt-fed upper for the AR-15, now out in the wild. It has passed half a million views and is drawing far more each day than anything else on the channel. A month-old case for 300 Blackout over 5.56 in a short-barreled rifle also sits above half a million.

Among similar channels, the busy weeks belong to others: Cold Steel is running at about double its usual pace, and TAOFLEDERMAUS and sootch00 are above theirs too. Skallagrim and The Tank Museum, like MAC, are under their usual levels.
