Top Dead Center has reached the stage of its BMW restoration where a fresh repaint isn't quite enough. Will Chandler wants the cabin to match the effort already spent on the outside, so out come the factory seats and in come plans for Recaro CS buckets salvaged from a Renault Mégane. Naturally, the brackets have other ideas.
The channel's only new upload, "I Went WAY Too Far Restoring My BMW M3", has drawn nearly 600,000 views. Will and Edwin Klinkenberg work through a cardboard to-do list that takes the low-mileage manual from rescue project towards something much more personal: a factory-looking carbon-fibre plenum, different seats and an exhaust valve controlled through a replacement light dial. The seat installation pauses overnight when they discover they need to order slider rails. Even an ambitious makeover must occasionally wait for the post.
There is a sponsored mattress segment, too, involving crew member Ben inside a delivery bag. That detour occupies a conspicuous amount of the comment section, alongside viewers discussing Will's sudden shouts, the abrupt cuts that follow them and the contrast between Edwin's technical explanations and Will's silliness.
The M3 is currently the channel's busiest video, with "£5000 Cool Daily Driver Challenge" and "We Fitted £3500 Parts To A £500 Volvo" also drawing fresh views. Expensive improvements to inexpensive cars remain a recurring theme.
Top Dead Center added 6,000 subscribers over the week, although daily viewing is currently below its usual level. Among nearby-sized motoring channels, Pushing Pistons had a much larger viewing week, while Seen Through Glass and EVO were quieter. Top Dead Center's own week brought more views than most of that group, with just one upload and a BMW whose cardboard checklist keeps finding new work.

That bag throw is the funniest thing I've seen all year. Proper genuine belly laugh and a rewind. Good work lads.
@legendarycheekymonkeySee it on YouTubeWhy do I find it so funny when Will shouts, then it immediately cuts to something else
@Alex-10thORSee it on YouTubeEdwin is fantastically knowledgeable and presents brilliantly. Will is the finishing touch though of silliness and sheer utter comedy. Thank god these two found eachother to deliver the greatness that is TDC. Love it
