Royalty Auto Service's new lifter means doing the job twice
Sherwood says the Ram owner won't pay again, but asks who covers the shop's repeat labor.

Chrysler Strikes Again! 😳 #shorts
Preventative maintenance was supposed to spare this Ram another repair, not send it straight back into one. In Royalty Auto Service's most watched new upload, Sherwood explains that the shop installed new lifters while working on a customer's truck. Then Chris starts the engine, and the ticking makes the problem audible.
Sherwood identifies a defective lifter on cylinder five, bought from a Chrysler dealership, that intermittently loses prime. Replacing it means taking the cylinder head off again. His position on the customer's bill is unambiguous: "He's not paying twice to pull that head off." Chris will be paid for doing the work again too. Sherwood's question is why the shop should absorb that labor cost rather than receive reimbursement from the parts supplier.
"Chrysler Strikes Again! 😳 #shorts" reached roughly 229,000 views. Beneath it, viewers discuss the difference between replacing a defective part and covering the work required to fit its replacement. Several describe labor-claim arrangements they've encountered in shops and parts stores.
The channel's six uploads also included a decades-old F150 window repair question, a hand-cleaner switch and preparations for servicing Teslas. Its new A/C diagnostic-tool video has the strongest viewing momentum right now, while the two AAPEX-tagged Shorts are also among its busiest uploads.
Royalty Auto Service added 3,000 subscribers over the week, though daily viewing is currently below its usual level. Among nearby motoring channels, High Peak Autos collected a similar weekly view total, while Top Dead Center had the larger subscriber gain. Here, the week's most concrete shop-floor lesson is less about new equipment than responsibility when a new part doesn't do its job.

At our shop we bill the manufacturer
@LOWKEYDANGERSee it on YouTubeI use to work in a parts store as a general manager, if any part we sold to shops, and the part failed under warranty, or became defective and had to bring the vehicle back in and had to replace it, they were able to submit a labor claim to get reimbursement for re-doing the job.
