  2. 3:00Under the hood, the Jaguar-based restomod has a supercharged 5.6-liter V12 producing 660 horsepower.
  3. 8:02James finds stiff pedals and a more physically demanding, racecar-like driving experience than he expected.
  4. 11:01James gives the starting price as £395,000, before the traction-control-off drifting begins.
  5. 13:26Thomas takes over, highlighting the heavy, direct steering and the exhaust's forceful percussion.

Rock-paper-scissors settles who gets the first drive. James Engelsman wins, but the TWR Supercat quickly makes clear that this isn't going to be a relaxed victory lap.

"This is immediately so much more physical than I thought it was going to be," he says. Stiff pedals, a supercharged V12 and a racecar-like feel turn Throttle House's new review into a particularly hands-on encounter. The video has drawn roughly 28,000 views in its first few hours today.

The Supercat is a restomod, a classic car rebuilt with modern modifications, based on the Jaguar XJ-S. Thomas Holland introduces Tom Walkinshaw Racing's history and its revival by Fergus Walkinshaw before the pair examine the design, crediting Khyzyl Saleem and Magnus Walker. Under the hood sits a heavily modified V12 producing 660 horsepower.

There is time for a detour into Gothic architecture, courtesy of Thomas explaining the car's flying buttresses. Then James heads onto the track. When Thomas switches the traction control completely off, the review moves into high-speed drifting, exhaust pops and flames.

Thomas's own turn brings heavy, direct steering and an emphatic verdict: "The steering feel is unreal." Rather than simply listing performance claims, the pair explain what driving the car demands of them, and their reactions supply much of the video's appeal.

The comments keep returning to the engine's noise and the hosts' expressions behind the wheel. There is also a smaller, very understandable conversation about the badge: several viewers initially read TWR as TVR.
