Rock Tunnel, Golurk's cannon and Bimmy's graveyard: TheRunawayGuys reach Lavender Town
Three new episodes of the Pokémon Blue run went up, and the comments under "Outsiders" are busy proving the guys wrong about a Golurk transformation.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Pokémon Blue - Episode 23 - “Graveyard Battle”
"Pokémon Blue - Episode 23 - 'Graveyard Battle'" is the newest stop on TheRunawayGuys' trip through the 1998 classic, and its description sets the tone: a battle in a graveyard, and a scolding for Bimmy about respect. The collab channel of ProtonJon, NintendoCapriSun and Chuggaaconroy posted three episodes in a row, starting in the dark with "Rock Tunnel" and pausing on "Outsiders" before the cemetery.
Each one opened with roughly 16,000 views on its first day, a steady rhythm for a long-running series where fans tend to arrive on schedule. "Outsiders" ended the week as the most watched, past 22,000.
Its comment section turned into a fact-check party. The guys apparently wondered aloud whether Golurk's cannon mode had ever shown up in official material, and viewers lined up to point at PokéPark 2, along with the Adventures manga and Pokémon Journeys. Others answer a question about where Claire knows some Generation 5 Pokémon from, and the creator of a fan comic mentioned on the show stopped by to say hello. The pickup-line jokes spilled over too, with viewers adding their own.
The channel as a whole moved at around half its usual daily pace, and subscribers held at 475,000. Most let's-play channels near its size are running slower than normal right now; Kenny Haller and VortroxTwo are the ones having big weeks, each gathering millions of views.

To answer Claire's question about where she knows the gen 5 Pokemon from. She played Violet for a Twitch stream. Some of the Gen 5 Pokemons were in Scarlet and Violet. So Claire might have seen them in that stream

@nateperez7768See it on YouTubeI remember when I lost to the trainer in Rock Tunnel that wants a Pokédex in my first playthrough. I legitimately thought I lost my Pokédex to him.

I do love that there was one official Valentine's e-card from Pokemon that said "I would still love you if you were an Orthworm"@lunarpanda1395See it on YouTube
