A usual day on Gentoi brings in close to 200,000 views. Right now it is nearer a third of that, and the reason is simple: nothing new went up over the week, so the shelf had to do the work.
The video doing most of it is "DOUBLE TROUBLE gets CRAZIER... | Gmod Hide & Seek", posted about two weeks ago and now past half a million views. It came with an apology in the description. Gentoi writes that he had been away a while, that he edited it while sick, and that he is putting more focus into the channel again. Eddy, Anthony, Meedy, SpendingSky and Nexus are credited as his players, and the tags point to the familiar Gentoi mix: Garry's Mod nextbots, Five Nights at Freddy's, The Walten Files and other analog horror.
Behind it sit two teasers. "A Round of GRIMWORKS | Gameplay Teaser" shows off a round-based survival horror game built in Roblox on FNAF ideas, with thanks to its developers and testers. The other is a Boiled One kill animation teaser, a short that has already passed a million views and promises a full video later. How long can a promise like that carry a channel?
The channel still added around 2,000 subscribers over the week, keeping the about line's #ROADTO500K goal in view. Among the let's-play channels close to its size, Gentoi gathered the third most views of the week. Kenny Haller and VortroxTwo had far busier weeks than anyone else in the group, while Kruzadar, JFJ and TheRunawayGuys moved more quietly.
