An alligator suit for dogs and a tiny slasher cat keep ThePurrfectFlex dressing up
The costume channel added 41,000 subscribers in seven days, a little less than the week before, while its slasher cat short leads the newest batch.
ThePurrfectFlexStory of Why this story? The channel went from 141,000 to 182,000 subscribers this week.
"GatorPaws costume setup for dog owners" is exactly what its title promises: a dog, an alligator costume and the reveal. It is one of five shorts ThePurrfectFlex posted across its two most recent days. The channel's about page promises daily videos of cats and dogs "rocking all sort of costumes," and this run sticks to the plan.
The one doing the heavy lifting is "Purrfect Slasher in a playful cat reveal," a cat dressed for spooky season that the description pitches at "cat moms who love Halloween." It has passed 230,000 views, several times more than anything posted beside it, the alligator dog included.
The channel now has 182,000 subscribers, 41,000 of them added in the last seven days, which works out to nearly a third more than a week earlier. As we reported here, the seven-day gain stood at 48,000 a day before, so the climb has eased slightly. Views today are also running well below the pace of recent days.
The anime thread is still there too. Two shorts show a pet trying what the channel calls its Purrfect Flex accessory, and their tags lean on Attack on Titan: the Survey Corps, Eren Yeager, Levi Ackerman. These are the hooded scout capes the about page mentions.
The newest upload goes back to a formula the channel has used before. "DON'T let a cat dad see what's under the blanket 🎃🐱" follows the earlier warning aimed at dog moms, and it hides its costume under a blanket for the cat parents.
