A Kennedy Center filing, nine hours old, tops Harry Litman's fifteen-upload week

Between court filings, Timothy Snyder came back from Ukraine and Rick Wilson brought a midterms map from Alaska to Florida.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

The newest video is the one in a hurry. Posted nine hours ago, "Trump Just Got HIT with BOMBSHELL Filing on Executive Privilege" has Harry Litman reading viewers in on a filing in the Kennedy Center case. It asks a court to make the Justice Department release documents it is withholding on executive privilege grounds. Nothing else on the channel is drawing viewers this quickly.

It was one of fifteen uploads, and Judge Aileen Cannon ran through several of them. The week's most watched, "Judge Cannon is LOSING CONTROL As Other Judges INTERVENE," passed 600,000 views. In it Litman walks through new developments in the effort to release material from Jack Smith's classified documents investigation, which Cannon has so far kept from the public.

The guests gave the week its range. Timothy Snyder, the Yale historian behind On Tyranny and Bloodlands, talked about his trip to Ukraine and what the midterms mean for American democracy. Rick Wilson, the former Republican strategist and Lincoln Project co-founder, took Harry on what the description calls a rollicking roadmap of key races. Ben Meiselas of MeidasTouch joined him on reports that Justice Samuel Alito is considering retirement.

The channel as a whole moved slower than its usual pace, adding about 2,000 subscribers. Among political commentary channels near its size, Victor Davis Hanson and Lawyer Oyer picked up the most new subscribers, and Clinton Jaws was the one running above its normal pace.
