Never has a deception check failed THIS hard.
Four uploads, and the animated bluff is still the busiest of them. As we reported here, "Never has a deception check failed THIS hard." brought back Brink, the character from Kyborg Kuest, one of the show's Patreon tavern tales. Five days on, it has passed 150,000 views. Viewers have moved on from saying hello to Brink. Now they are comparing his design to Star Trek's Borg and to Nightcrawler, spotting the "Smarsh Rulez" graffiti in the background, and joking that the bard finally got a taste of vicious mockery.
The Monday release is a trip into the archive. "C01 - Ep. 76 - Of Life & Breath - With Barted Breath" comes from Infinight Interns, the first campaign, which the channel reposts once a week. Here the interns are pulled inside the Breath Monolith while they chase the next Diagem, and it has started at a lively clip for a full-length episode.
The current campaign moved on as well. In episode 53, Gus Sorola's players take the Brutaliteam through Shady Pines Mines with a party of minor miners in chains, on the road to a wedding. Between the two episodes came a top-five reel of the group's dumbest plans.
Views ran well below the channel's usual pace, and about a thousand new subscribers arrived over the week. Most of the tabletop channels around it were quieter than usual too, with Min-Maxed the one running above its normal level.
