German German Shepherds, indignant pets and a cat shanty have helped Rufus Goodboy build a million-subscriber channel. The milestone follows a week in which it added roughly 57,000 subscribers, with its animal voiceovers reaching well beyond the household dog.

The channel supplies comic voices for animal footage, turning pet behavior into human grievances. Its established cast of sounds includes the GERMAN German Shepherd and Nasty Otter, while "Golden Retriever Core" is its most-watched Short. The German Shepherd character also has longer collections devoted to it, including "Every Single GERMAN German Shepherd!"

There is a smaller milestone alongside the subscriber total: the November cat upload about sitting wherever you fit has passed a million views. Rufus Goodboy credits the footage to Betsy Leiss and compares the predicament to squeezing into an airplane seat. It's a familiar human discomfort, repackaged as a cat joke.

The latest uploads keep expanding that conversational animal world, with a demand for dinner, a feline biscuit-making lesson and thirsty frogs. There is room for viewers to do some talking, too: the November 7 animal-trivia livestream asks them to test their knowledge rather than simply listen to the pets.
