The Short has reached about 1.3 million views in 11 hours, putting it well ahead of the channel's usual opening pace. Its title, "DiD yOu BriNg EnOugH fOr tHe wHoLe cLaSS? 🐊😤", borrows the familiar classroom complaint and hands it to a rather toothier crowd.

Once the chicken lands and an alligator grabs it, the remaining diners groan. Then comes the complaint: "Did you seriously only bring one chicken breast? There's like 45 of us here, Rachel." That's the voiceover's head count, and its entire case against the catering.

The description credits the footage to @rachgutt. Viewers pick up on the collective groan and the open mouths, while several compare the competing demands to the seagulls in Finding Nemo.

It isn't Rufus Goodboy's only fast-moving animal comedy of the day. "He'S tHe GOAT 🐐💨", whose description places it at the Great American Pig Races, has also passed a million views with a much faster start than usual.
