Viewers are turning the procession into a video-game joke, comparing the dogs to characters that keep spawning or objects pulled from an inventory. Others imagine a shelter visit that began with a firm promise to bring home just one dog. The repeated glance back into the car is the detail they keep returning to: surely she hasn't got another.
