All Those Balls, but Maggie Is Waiting for the Puck

Toy balls roll into the miniature hockey net, and Maggie lets every one of them through. She is not being lazy. She is waiting.

In "All Those Balls, but Maggie Is Waiting for the Puck," an unseen player fires a run of colorful distractions past the canine goalie. Even a blue ball sent straight at her feet fails to move her. Then the stick settles behind a black puck, and Maggie bursts out of the net to meet it. The on-screen caption puts it neatly: so many distractions, one serious goalie.

The clip has no dialogue and runs only a few seconds. Maggie's patient stance and sudden charge carry the joke on their own.

About 5.5 million views since yesterday make it a notable outing for Brighter Paws, a channel whose best-known Shorts mostly star horses. This time, a dog has a hockey net and a very clear idea of which game she is playing.
