Story of Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
This Grasshopper Held On to a Plane Window During Takeoff 😳✈️
The Crawl Crew steps away from the beehive for an insect with a particularly unfortunate perch: the outside of an airplane window. As the aircraft accelerates, the green passenger lowers its body and hangs on with all six legs. It finally loses its grip at takeoff, with the video's speed overlay showing more than 180 mph.
"This Grasshopper Held On to a Plane Window During Takeoff 😳✈️" had a modest first day, then built into the week's most-watched new upload. The comments take an unexpected detour into storm chasing, comparing its grip with tornado-intercept vehicles. Others ask whether the insect survived; the clip doesn't establish what happened after it blew off.
Bees haven't surrendered the channel altogether. New uploads include hornets raiding a hive, moths causing trouble inside another, and bees hanging from a car. October's "He Had to Make a Heartbreaking Decision," about a beekeeper protecting his colony, remains the channel's busiest video by daily views, with the grasshopper close behind. A fresh upload about homeless bees is also gathering attention.
Across the catalogue, The Crawl Crew added about 1.2 million views and a small subscriber gain. Daily viewing is currently below its usual pace. Among nearby animal channels, Tail Talks had a much larger viewing week, while The Crawl Crew's weekly total sat between Tiridan Vee and Domenic Biagini. For this channel, the most distinctive new arrival was the one that never made it inside the cabin.
