The horses have aerial company. In Broncs and Donks' "Catching Wild Horses (With Heavy D Sparks)", riders team up with Dave Sparks and a Black Hawk helicopter to gather horses that escaped a Utah ranch months earlier.
Before the chasing comes the planning: a converted yellow "Bronc Bus" carries the crew into the desert, and co-pilot Ryan Flanary helps divide the search areas using a digital terrain map. For the narrator, the aerial scouting trip is a first. "I'd never been in a helicopter before, much less a Black Hawk," he says. The horses promptly demonstrate that an overhead view doesn't make a roundup straightforward, evading the first planned ambush. The video also includes a promotional trailer segment.
Broncs and Donks posted nothing new this week, but its archive collected roughly 222,000 views. The Sparks outing is its busiest individual upload right now, with "We Lost Our Horse In The Mountains..." close behind. October's "Gathering Wild Horses GONE WRONG!", the Navajo Nation trip we reported here, remains another active draw.
Subscribers held steady, following modest growth over the past month. Daily viewing is currently less than half its usual level. Among nearby animal channels, Tail Talks had a much bigger week and Wild Times Podcast is drawing above its usual daily audience. Here, the continuing interest is in older adventures, including a mountain search that began with a runaway horse already forty hours ahead.
