Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

We met the sweetest Corgi! #corgi #dog

Hobbes has his nose near the treat bag before Rachel Green gets around to offering the menu: chicken or beef. The Corgi's sidewalk introduction became Tail Talks' most-watched new upload of the week, reaching roughly 155,000 views.

Green asks his owner's permission before handing anything over, then puts Hobbes through a sit and a lie-down. Another sit earns another treat. By the time she lowers the microphone and asks whether he would like a Tail Talks interview, he has already given her plenty to work with. Viewers keep mentioning his anticipatory sit, his investigation of the bag and the familiar temptation to allow just one more snack.

His companion interview adds a little character sketch: Hobbes enjoys park walks and greeting his dog and human neighbors. Elsewhere in the week's nine uploads, Green meets Golden Retriever Murphy, a Boxer in Boston and Lady, a Beagle/Dachshund mix. Bernese Mountain Dog puppy Beau is the fresh arrival drawing the strongest daily viewing among the new uploads.

An older encounter has more momentum than any of those: the Italian Greyhound introduced last month, out with her humans for sunshine and a picnic, remains the channel's busiest video each day.

Tail Talks added about 9,000 subscribers across the week, while daily views are running more than half above their usual pace. Among nearby pet channels, Cactus also had a substantial viewing week; Chewy The Newfoundland's daily audience is a little below its norm. For Green, the week's range runs from Beau's puppy introduction to Hobbes, nearly nine and thoroughly familiar with the value of a well-timed sit.
