Yellowjackets | Season 4 Official Trailer | SHOWTIME® Original | Paramount+

What do you tell the people waiting back home? In the final-season trailer for Yellowjackets, the returning soccer players are welcomed as heroes. But the balloons and school-gym podium sit uneasily beside the secrets they have brought out of the wilderness.

Paramount Plus's trailer drew nearly 190,000 views in its first half-day, far beyond the channel's usual start for uploads of this length. The comments have already grown dozens of times busier than a typical full first day, with viewers picking apart the homecoming rather than simply counting down to it.

The trailer shows a helicopter above the stranded group in the snow, then moves between the teenagers' return to society and the survivors' adult lives. News cameras crowd around the young players. In the present, a daughter demands the truth from her mother, while another conversation raises the frightening weight of the survivors' shared history. Rescue is here; a clean break is not.

That distinction runs through the comments. Viewers are discussing how the girls will cope outside the wilderness, while others focus on a Jackie statue and what it might mean for Shauna. Those are reactions and predictions, not answers the trailer supplies.

The closing podium speech offers a much tidier account: an adult survivor says, "More than anything... we survived because of love." The trailer follows it with a scream, leaving a pointed gap between the public story and everything else it shows.
