A spacing error points The Blue Road's detectives toward Japan
Netflix K-Content's full trailer adds a linguistic clue, uneasy partners and street pursuits ahead of the thriller's November 20 premiere.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 111,226 views a day, 12 times a normal first day on this channel (9,700).

The killer leaves messages, but the spaces between the words may be giving something away. In The Blue Road's official trailer, an investigator identifies errors in Korean spacing as a reason to suspect a Japanese national.
That small detail opens a much larger investigation. Korean and Japanese detectives join forces to hunt a serial killer, with jurisdiction and personal motives complicating their partnership. A prisoner's question about a Shinjuku incident suggests a past case is part of the puzzle, too.
Netflix K-Content's trailer drew about 110,000 views in its first day, more than eleven times the channel's usual start for uploads of this length. The comments include requests for more Son Sukku roles, a viewer looking for another gritty drama after The Scarecrow, and another arriving after watching Signal.
As we reported here, Son Sukku and Eita Nagayama lead the cross-border story. This trailer gives their investigation a more concrete shape: cryptic messages, a killer taunting the task force, and pursuits through crowded streets and an industrial complex.
"I don't care who it is as long as I can catch the killer," the Japanese detective says. The trailer supplies plenty of urgency, but leaves the connection between the detectives and their quarry unresolved.
