Dwight's crushing personal loss: Tulsa King's Season 4 trailer passes 2.6 million

Sylvester Stallone's Dwight Manfredi is doing most of the heavy lifting on Paramount Plus. Three days after it went up, the Tulsa King Season 4 trailer has passed 2.6 million views, and it is still bringing in more than a million a day, roughly a quarter of everything the channel draws right now.
The trailer's description lays out a hard season for Dwight: corrupt politicians, new enemies and a crushing personal loss, all while he tries to make his Oklahoma empire legitimate. The show comes from Taylor Sheridan's growing corner of the service, with Terence Winter of The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire as its first showrunner, and it returns October 16.
Around it, the channel kept dipping into the back catalog. Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow clip and Uhura's leap into a future with Paul Wesley's Kirk on Strange New Worlds are still busy two days on. The newest arrival is a Cheers short, posted with Ted Danson and Shelley Long in its tags, about the night Sam met Diane, a pairing that carried the bar comedy through its first five seasons. Zoolander's ridiculously good-looking question and a Lioness spoiler filled out a week of fifteen uploads.
Overall the channel is running at nearly twice its usual daily pace. Among the TV networks and streaming services nearest it in size, Apple TV and E! News are busy too, but Paramount Plus is drawing the most views of the group right now, all of it on the strength of one gangster in a cowboy hat.
