Star Trek's turn now. After a Tulsa King trailer and a short Tom Cruise scene from Edge of Tomorrow, the newest Paramount Plus upload to leave a normal first day behind comes from the Enterprise.

Within half a day, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds | Time Traveling Uhura (S4, E10) | Paramount+" had passed 56,000 views. That is a pace of roughly twelve times what a new video here usually collects over its whole first day. The rest of the channel was not doing the lifting, either. Its overall daily views sat well below normal, and Apple TV, Disney Plus and CBS were in a slow patch of their own.

The clip comes from the tenth episode of the show's fourth season, and the title spells out its hook: Uhura, out of her own time. Strange New Worlds follows Captain Christopher Pike's crew in the years before Kirk takes the chair. Its Uhura, played by Celia Rose Gooding, is a younger take on the communications officer Nichelle Nichols first brought to the bridge in 1966.
