Kimmel PRAISES Mamdani for his poker face during press conference with Trump

The Democratic Party's official channel reposted a clip of Jimmy Kimmel praising Mamdani, and it is moving faster than almost anything the channel usually shares. The title promises Kimmel applauding "his poker face during press conference with Trump." Thirteen hours after it went up, the clip was close to 60,000 views.

A new upload here usually ends its first day with a crowd in the thousands. This one is on course for about ten times that. It also ran against the grain: the channel as a whole is drawing far fewer views than it normally does, and the politicians' channels nearby were quiet too, from Pete Buttigieg to Rep. Joe Neguse.

The clip borrows the words of a comedian who has hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC since 2003, and points them at Zohran Mamdani, who won New York City's mayoral race in 2025. The title gives Mamdani credit for keeping a straight face while standing next to Trump. People watching mostly let a thumbs-up do the talking: likes run into the thousands, and comments are still in double digits.
