Disney Plus usually draws a little under two hundred thousand views a day across its catalog, and this week it ran noticeably below that. Only one new upload went up, and it belongs to a show the channel has clearly been building toward: "Coven Academy | Premise Featurette | Disney+", posted on September 29.

A premise featurette does what the name says, laying out what a series is about before it arrives, and in its first nine hours this one passed 20,000 views. It is already the channel's busiest video by daily pace. Close behind is the Coven Academy trailer, which went up twelve days ago and has passed nine and a half million views. So the witchy school story is carrying the channel from two directions at once, one old clip and one fresh.

The third video still moving is the Percy Jackson & the Olympians Season 3 teaser, forty-six days old, gathering at a gentler pace now after crossing nine million.

Among TV networks and streaming services, nearly everyone ran slower than usual, Paramount Plus, Apple TV and E! News included, even while each kept far bigger daily totals than Disney Plus. CBS and Netflix Sports sit closest to it in size and in pace.
