Dunk, Gross and Hürzeler: a triple award month behind the scenes at Brighton

Two shorts went up during the break, while the Arsenal win from the club's 125th anniversary match is still the video people keep pressing play on.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Fifteen days after it went up, the extended highlights of Brighton against Arsenal are still the busiest thing on the club's channel. The description calls it an iconic anniversary match, the win that marked the Albion's 125 years at the Amex, and supporters are clearly not finished reliving it. The shorter cut of the same game sits on more total views, close to two and a half million, but it is the longer version people keep choosing now.

The new uploads were small and few, two shorts in all. The bigger one went behind the scenes with three award winners: Lewis Dunk, Pascal Gross and head coach Fabian Hürzeler. The comments do the arithmetic fans enjoy most, noting that the club picked up goal, player and manager honors in the same month, and that the youngest of the three is the manager. Others are already looking past the international break to a busy run of fixtures. The second short, "Back to work!", simply shows the squad returning to training.

With no match to post, the channel ran a little below its usual pace and the subscriber count held still. Among the football channels near its size it sat in the middle, sixth of nine, much like Aston Villa and West Ham, while the clips and quiz channels such as GOAL's Front Three had the big weeks.
