Seven hours after the highlights went up, they had passed 100,000 views. A new upload on this channel usually finishes its whole first day with a few thousand.
The reel is plain match footage, but the comments make it lively. Viewers keep returning to the goals, and two struck volleys in particular. Several hand the credit to João Cancelo, the Portuguese full-back, with one viewer counting three Puskás Award candidates from him alone. Others are puzzled by a red card and ask how the foul earned one. A smaller group has notes for the editor, timing how long the reel spends on a Norway celebration against the replay of the goal itself.
