For when your house is overwhelming you and you don’t even know where to start 🤍
Brogan, the cleaner behind Not the Worst Cleaner, posted three videos this week, and two of them share one idea: a messy house does not have to be fixed all at once.
The most watched, "For when your house is overwhelming you and you don't even know where to start," went up on September 29 and has passed 139,000 views. Its comment section reads like a support group. Viewers write about depression, illness and years of piled-up stuff, and many say they have been trying her 4-foot method, clearing one small section at a time, at home or alongside a friend or parent. One practical question keeps coming up: what do you do with the things that belong in another room? And a surprising number of people have noticed the old gold stove in the kitchen and remember one just like it.
The newest short, "If cleaning is overwhelming, stop waiting until you can do it all- anything is better than nothing," is moving fastest, close to 80,000 views in about a day and a half. In between came a hands-on test of a Roborock floor cleaner on a bathroom floor.
The method itself is still doing quiet work. "Deep cleaning is way less overwhelming when I use my 4 foot sectioning method," five weeks old, is closing in on five million views and still picks up around 20,000 a day.
The channel as a whole ran at about half its usual daily pace, a calmer stretch shared by several home and DIY channels near its size, while Tia Weston had a much bigger week than usual.
