Jennifer, her 86-year-old grandmother and a knock on the door for M&D Lawn Care

The week's only upload, a free yard makeover for a woman caring for her grandmother, passed nearly 300,000 views in four days.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Close to 196 million views now sit on M&D Lawn Care's channel, and the newest of them went to a door Daniel Hernandez and his dad, Martin, had never knocked on before.

The week brought a single upload, "She Was Struggling Behind Closed Doors… Until We Knocked," and it follows the channel's familiar idea: turn up unannounced in the Channelview, Texas area and offer a stranger a free yard transformation. This time the stranger was Jennifer, who, the description says, spends much of her time caring for her 86-year-old grandmother, which left the yard as one more thing to worry about.

The comment section is mostly about Martin. Viewers keep returning to the moment he tells the camera he is ready to help Jennifer, and many ask to hear more from him, noting that he speaks more English in each video. Others praise his machete work while Daniel mows, and several mention the moment Jennifer asked whether the two had a small YouTube channel. A popular suggestion is to send the house to Three for Change, the cleaning and clutter crew that viewers link to the family, for a new window and a fresh water heater.

The video passed a million views in no time it did not: it sits near 300,000, well ahead of anything else on the channel right now. Behind it, an HOA job from early September, where the walkways had all but vanished under the grass, is closing in on 850,000, and "We Had to WALK AWAY After Seeing THIS..." keeps a steady crowd curious about why they left a job unfinished.

Overall the channel ran a good way below its usual daily pace, a pattern shared by most of the DIY and home channels close to its size, from Mark Marshall to William Osman 2. Xpress Tv Mounting and electronicsNmore held closest to their normal levels.
