Call your building official, Cy Porter tells a Lennar homeowner

On an ordinary day, CyFy pulls in well over half a million views. Right now it is running at less than half that pace. Even so, Cy Porter's channel added more views over the past seven days than any of the similar-sized DIY and home channels with a full week to compare.
Seven uploads went out, all in Cy's usual register: new builds, warranties and the officials who are supposed to check them. The one people watched most is addressed to a single viewer. "TexpatBBQ, make sure you call your building official so Lennar call pull any required permits" reads like advice handed across a driveway. The comment section reads like a small victory lap. The most liked notes describe a Lennar homeowner who got help after the case spread online and ask who should be next. Several cheer a Reckless Ben shirt that turns up, and a few have adopted the word "Cytations."
The rest of the week stayed close to home. An Arizona roof video warns that a two-year warranty can run out before the first real rain. Another says a long-troubled community is finally coming to an end. The newest, "Cy, the official FU Homes Community enforcer...", is the one moving fastest now, less than a day old.
An older title is still working too. "Even if they silenced me, my videos speak for themselves..." went up about two weeks ago and has passed a million views. The channel picked up about 2,000 subscribers on the week. Among the neighbors, Fab Rats is the one running far above its usual pace, while most of the group sits below theirs, CyFy included.
