Iran is pursuing talks with Russia and sending a nuclear proposal toward Washington as Benjamin Netanyahu faces mounting pressure over his political future, according to South Korea's Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).
The broadcaster's compilation opens with Arab parties backing Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the Yashar party, as Israel's next prime minister. Eisenkot, a former Israeli military chief of staff, is seeking to replace Netanyahu after an election in which the governing alliance failed to secure a majority, the report says. Mansour Abbas, leader of the Arab party Ra'am, appears in the coverage of those negotiations.
The diplomatic strand takes viewers to Moscow. MBC reports that Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, delivered a message from Iran's supreme leader to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Their discussions covered postwar security and gas-pipeline cooperation. The broadcaster also reports that Iran sent a nuclear proposal to the United States through Qatar.
Washington's election aftermath provides the link between those developments. Vice President JD Vance identifies the Iran war as a reason for Republican losses. President Donald Trump accepts part of that explanation, saying the conflict pushed gasoline prices higher in the short term. MBC presents the strengthened Democratic position in Congress as an additional source of pressure on Netanyahu and his government's policies.
The compilation then returns to an earlier election report. Arab parties secured 19 seats, giving them a potentially decisive role in coalition formation, according to MBC. But the report also considers how Netanyahu could remain in office through a prolonged caretaker period. Losing a parliamentary majority and actually leaving office are not presented as the same event.
The upload is titled "네타냐후 실각 '초읽기' 돌입..뇌물 재판·전범 체포 현실화? [뉴스.zip/MBC뉴스]", meaning "Countdown to Netanyahu's ouster begins: Could bribery trial and arrest for war crimes become reality?" Those legal consequences are posed as questions in the title; the reports chiefly explain coalition arithmetic, changing American support and Iran's diplomatic activity.
