Hotel vouchers did not end the frustration for passengers stranded at Japan's . They were left to arrange their own transport to the accommodation, according to South Korea's Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

The report shows passengers confronting uniformed staff in the departure area, with one repeatedly demanding an explanation in Korean. The airport serves Sapporo, in northern Japan.

According to the report, the Incheon-bound flight ZE626 was canceled after a prolonged delay. Passenger accounts shared on social media describe a long wait aboard the aircraft before a communications-equipment fault forced them to disembark. They then waited in a separate airport area, and their duty-free purchases were taken back.

About 40 passengers departed on an alternative flight, MBC reports. The remaining passengers boarded the Eastar aircraft again, only to receive a final cancellation notice.

The airline's statement, presented at the end of the report, cites maintenance on communications equipment and crew duty-time limits among the reasons for the disruption, and offers an apology. But the footage and passenger accounts focus on what happened after the technical problem: repeated waits, difficulty getting explanations and the need to find their own way to a hotel.
