Dark streets in Kerch and residents filming their complaints about electricity cuts anchor a report on overlapping infrastructure and weather pressures in Russian-occupied Crimea.
Ukraine's Channel 24 (24 Канал) reports that widespread blackouts have disrupted water supplies, heating and transport as a severe Arctic cyclone approaches the peninsula. Its Bunker NEWS roundup has drawn about 402,000 views since yesterday.
The report describes warnings of strong winds, heavy rain and a sharp drop in temperatures. Against that forecast, residents recount prolonged outages and uncertainty about when basic services will return. One recording from Kerch identifies the evening of November 4 and says the electricity has been off since the early hours that morning.
Sergey Aksyonov, the Russian-installed head of Crimea, appears in an official meeting clip announcing an extension of school vacations amid the disruption. The narrator reviews electricity rationing in Saki and Kerch, while residents describe having power for only a few hours a day. In Yevpatoria, the report says authorities are deploying backup generators and arranging scheduled water deliveries by tanker.
Crimea is internationally recognized as Ukrainian territory and has been under Russian occupation since 2014. The Crimean Bridge crosses the Kerch Strait to Russia's Krasnodar region, making disruption there consequential for journeys off the peninsula. The report shows traffic queues and describes repeated bridge closures as people attempt to leave.
The second half widens its focus to Russia. It presents drivers filming fuel queues and complaints about missing deliveries, reports refinery fires, and attributes flight cancellations at Moscow airports to drone threats and winter weather. A separate segment examines rising poultry prices.
Not everything in the roundup concerns infrastructure. An RT television excerpt shows Margarita Simonyan presenting an AI-generated version of novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky, rather than authentic footage or speech by the writer. The closing sections return to local conditions, with residents complaining about industrial smog in Bashkortostan and the narrator reporting an emergency declaration over accumulated garbage in Chita.
