Volodymyr Zelensky has criticized Elon Musk over remarks about Russian military deaths, according to Ukraine's Channel 24 (24 Канал). The broadcaster says Ukraine's president rejected what it describes as Musk's jokes about those losses.

The on-screen account attributes a clear distinction to Zelensky: Russian troops entered another country's territory as aggressors, and Ukraine does not regret their military losses. It also says he cannot understand Musk's attitude toward the war or find humor in the remarks.

The Short presents that account as text over a still photograph of Zelensky against a Ukrainian flag, accompanied by music. It contains no spoken statement from the president and does not reproduce Musk's original remarks, so viewers receive the broadcaster's account of the exchange rather than footage of either man making it.
