In MaxPreps' newest hit, credited to a Pop Warner program's account, the ball goes straight into the back of his own offensive lineman. The channel's title suggests a change of position: "Time to hop under center bro" is football talk for moving to quarterback.

The short passed a million views a little more than a day after it went up. That is far beyond what a MaxPreps short usually draws on its first day, and the comments came in roughly two dozen times faster than usual.

The most liked comment compares the kick to a soccer penalty, and another calls a kick into a lineman's back a football blooper for the ages. But the line that keeps coming back is that the clip seems lifted from Home Team, the 2022 Netflix comedy in which Kevin James plays Sean Payton coaching his son's youth team. Down the thread, viewers trade the film's shouted lines, and a few treat catching the reference as a badge of honor.

It was not the channel's only quick start. A day later, "“Nah we on the golf team” 😳" had a fast first day of its own, about ten times the usual. The more serious football went up the same Saturday: two clips of Santa Margarita taking down Mater Dei for a second straight year, with Carson Palmer's name across the title.
