"Mahomes Mountain" is the last chapter of the most watched episode First Things First posted this week. It is Nick Wright's tiered ranking of NFL quarterbacks, and this time Brock Purdy climbed near the summit. The episode opens on the Steelers sending Joey Porter Jr. to Dallas for a second-round pick, which the title calls a "lose-lose" trade, then moves through Drake Maye against Josh Allen and the Chiefs' trip to face the Raiders.

The viewers, though, went straight to the mountain. Many of the most liked comments are 49ers fans pushing "Purdy's Peak," and the longest reply threads argue over whether Nick will ever put the former Mr. Irrelevant, the last pick of the 2022 draft, above Mahomes. Others are still enjoying the running bit "it's not left to right," and some caught a moment where the hosts mused about making the show just for YouTube.

Fifteen uploads went up, and a lot of them were previews of the weekend. Danny Parkins sat in for picks and a trivia short on the longest winning streaks to begin a season, and Greg Jennings joined the Upset Alert segment. The freshest clip is Kevin Wildes' Week 4 Vibe Check, with the Browns, Commanders and Raiders on the rise and the Chargers at the bottom.

Daily views are running at a little more than half the usual pace. Even so, the channel gathered about 8.7 million views over the seven days, second in its group of sports media channels, just behind The Rich Eisen Show.
