She starts bark tanning an antelope hide, gathers what is left of the garden before the frost, puts up a hawthorn berry tincture and a batch of honey garlic for winter, and does some fall planting. The straw bale house, she says, waits until the property is squared away.
The video lands in a tender stretch for the channel. Her previous upload, the concrete pour for the house, was also, as its description puts it, the last days with Akela, the dog who shares the channel's name.
