'GTA 6 is EXPOSING The Gaming Industry...': LegacyKillaHD turns from Wolverine back to Rockstar
His new video weighs Rockstar's business decisions against how good the game looks, and the whole channel is drawing several times its usual daily views.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 138,431 views a day, 8.7 times a normal day (15,881).
After a September spent mostly on Marvel's Wolverine, LegacyKillaHD has gone back to the game his channel was built around. "GTA 6 is EXPOSING The Gaming Industry..." went up on October 4 and passed 180,000 views in about two days. The channel as a whole is now pulling more than eight times its usual daily views.
The description sums up the mood in one line: he is frustrated with Rockstar's business decisions, but the game itself looks stunning to him. It is his second Rockstar video in a fortnight. "Rockstar Has Officially Lost Their DAMN Minds..." from late September is already close to 300,000 views. That is no surprise on this channel. Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar's return to a Miami-inspired Vice City with Lucia and Jason at its center, is the first subject his about text names, ahead of The Elder Scrolls VI.
Several gaming news channels close to his size are not having that kind of day. Spawn Wave is running at about half its usual pace, and Luke Stephens is also below his.
Before the turn back to Rockstar, his uploads were almost all about Wolverine. Three September titles followed Insomniac's game from reviews the channel called a disaster, to developers mocking it, to talk of panic at Sony, with PlayStation 6 leaks mixed in. "Marvel's Wolverine Reviews are a Disaster..." is still the biggest of his recent videos.
