Wolverine's State of Play, an IGN broadcast, holds Eurogamer's quiet corner
The June showcase opened with Insomniac's Logan, and it has passed 100,000 views on a channel whose 754,000 subscribers waited a week for something new.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Sony State of Play - June 2026
Among the gaming news channels close to Eurogamer in size, most are running below their usual daily pace. Eurogamer is one of the few edging the other way, with a touch more views a day than normal, and that happened in a week when it posted nothing at all.
The videos with the most life in them right now are not Eurogamer's own features or let's plays. All three are IGN broadcasts carried on the channel, a reminder that both outlets sit under the same IGN Entertainment roof. First is Sony's State of Play from June, an hour-long showcase that opened with a closer look at Marvel's Wolverine, Insomniac's take on Logan, then billed for a September 15 launch. It has passed 100,000 views. Behind it come the final day of IGN's gamescom studio in late August, with live recordings of the Outside Xbox and Game Scoop podcasts, and a San Diego Comic-Con day of interviews with casts from The Walking Dead, Rings of Power and Control Resonant. None of them is moving fast. They simply keep turning up.
The subscriber count held still at 754,000. Elsewhere in the group, Luke Stephens had by far the biggest week, and LegacyKillaHD is running at several times its usual pace, while Infinite Bits, Spawn Wave and oddheader all sit well under their normal levels.
Zoe Delahunty-Light, Jim Trinca and Ian Higton, the faces the channel promises in its about text, had the week off camera. The archive filled in.
