Pentakill adds heavy metal to League of Legends' Worlds soundtrack

The orchestral theme joins True Damage's "Know My Name" as Worlds opens on October 15.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

True Damage has company on the Worlds soundtrack. "Worlds 2026 | Orchestral Theme Ft. Pentakill - League of Legends" brings League's virtual metal band into the tournament's musical build-up, with guitars by Owain Williams and keyboards by Jose "Atlan" Aranda. Written and produced by Rich Thomson, it has passed a million views.

That is the new musical chapter, but "Know My Name ft. True Damage (Official Music Video) | League of Legends Worlds 2026 Anthem" remains the week's main attraction. The animated anthem has reached roughly 27 million views, with SOYEON of i-dle, Coco Jones, Vic Mensa and Sofía Reyes supplying the vocals.

Its futuristic retelling of Faker's legacy has given viewers a running joke: the player has accumulated enough story to become a playable champion himself. Others focus on SOYEON's familiar voice as Akali. Between rooftop combat, a squad reunion in an elevator and a subway confrontation, the video gives those conversations plenty of animated spectacle to work with.

Across seven uploads, the channel also returned Aatrox, Irelia and other champions to League Classic and shared community clips credited to soymamuu, Kadeem718 and Joe Bartolozzi.

League added subscribers over the week and had the largest weekly view gain among its listed publisher peers. Call of Duty is enjoying sharply elevated daily viewing; League's own daily total is about half its usual pace. On League's upload shelf, the anthem, Pentakill theme and Caitlyn cosplay clip are the most active viewing destinations.
