Barron, Leavitt, Hegseth and a Natalie: Jack Cocchiarella's fifteen uploads

The progressive Gen Z commentator's channel is past 1.1 billion lifetime views, and nearly every new title this week came in capital letters with a bleeped verb.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Jack Cocchiarella, who describes himself as a progressive Gen Z political commentator, has a channel past 1.1 billion lifetime views. He added fifteen videos to it this week, and anyone who has watched him for a while will recognize the house style. A name, the word "just," and a censored verb in capitals: "Natalie just F**KED UP," "Barron just F**KED his life," "Leavitt just F**KED HIS LIFE," "Hegseth Just F**KED UP." The descriptions say only that he is reacting to breaking news, so the titles do most of the explaining.

The formula is remarkably steady. Each of the six busiest new videos opened with roughly 270,000 to 360,000 views in its first day, with none far out in front. The newest uploads carry the momentum, led by "HE IS SO F**KED," with "Hegseth Just F**KED UP" and the blunt "WTF was this?" close behind. The September 30 batch had already slowed by the time the October 1 videos arrived.

The channel as a whole drew a little less than usual, about 1.4 million views a day. Among political channels of a similar size, I've Had It is running well above its normal pace, DeFranco News Clips is up a little, and The Bulwark, like Cocchiarella, is slightly under its usual level.
