Bensei's week brings maker entries and castle-side sparring

The muckler test drew roughly 350,000 views, while newer community entries now carry the channel's strongest daily momentum.

Time to test the MUCKLER!!! #benseiarmy #meteorhammer #muckler #hema

A shield with a meteor hammer attached deserves a practical test, preferably with safe trainers. Bensei and his fellow martial arts creators took the muckler outside a castle and put it through sparring rounds, making the experiment the most-watched of his fifteen uploads this week.

Spencer, known as Simply Samurai, tests a sword against the hybrid weapon, and Bensei eventually takes a turn himself. The useful discovery is less about brute force than uncertainty: the swinging weight makes an opponent hesitate. By the debrief, Bensei's verdict is affectionate rather than grand: "it's the best type of stupid. It works." Viewers are asking for more practice sessions and picking apart the difference between his use of range and the other fighters' approaches.

But the week wasn't all muckler. Entries credited to The Jesters Journey and stein_steel.co brought the maker side of the channel into view. The latter is now among the uploads adding views fastest, alongside the newer @Tater_the_Bard entry. "3: Knee shot #benseiarmy #trickshot #meteorhammer" rounds out that busy newer trio.

The channel added about 4,000 subscribers across the week, though daily viewing is currently below its usual pace. Among nearby fitness and training channels, Paulina Roquett had the largest weekly view gain, with Bensei next; RipRightHD is enjoying daily viewing well above its own norm. For Bensei, the week's biggest audience gathered around an invention whose usefulness was very much an open question until people started swinging it.
