Doctor Doom faces a three-team assembly in IGN's Avengers teaser
Wakanda, Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts characters gather in a brief preview that has viewers debating the "Trailer 2" label.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 67,889 views a day, 11 times a normal first day on this channel (6,305).
Avengers Doomsday - Official Teaser Trailer (2026) Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans
"Doom will tear this world apart," the armored villain declares as buildings burn. IGN Movie Trailers' Avengers: Doomsday preview answers that threat with a gathering of heroes from Wakanda, the Fantastic Four and the Thunderbolts, all under the promise that three teams will stand as one.
The short upload drew roughly 68,000 views in its first day, more than ten times the channel's usual Shorts start. But its billing as "Official Trailer 2" has become a subject of its own in the comments: several viewers describe the brief preview as closer to a TV spot than a full trailer.
Between the destruction and the assembling, there's room for an administrative problem. Paul Rudd's Scott Lang tries to address "Cap" with Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson and John Walker all present. Walker helpfully points out that he held the title, too.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Doomsday is set for theaters on December 18. This preview offers a compact statement of its premise: separate superhero worlds brought together, with Doctor Doom as their shared threat.

These used to be called Tv spots.
@DeeperDives-w8xSee it on YouTubeJust seeing it for the X-Men.
@GeeEmm81See it on YouTubeIt’s crazy to me that they showed Cap coming back in the trailer. Imagen the surprise that would be if they’d kept that a secret into the theatre. What a missed opportunity. Like Darth Vader being Luke’s father. Same thing goes for Downey being cast as Dr.Doom. They were too worried about hyping ticket sales up. What a missed opportunity…
