GODZILLA MINUS ZERO | Official Trailer 3 - NOW PLAYING

The warning comes first. An official says the threat is not Godzilla. Then, near the end of the new Godzilla Minus Zero trailer, fighter planes plunge through clouds and a three-headed creature towers over the buildings.

King Ghidorah has entered the picture. The golden, winged monster is a familiar presence in Godzilla's screen history, but this reveal gives Takashi Yamazaki's postwar world another formidable problem beyond the creature it already knows.

"GODZILLA MINUS ZERO | Official Trailer 3 - NOW PLAYING" reached about 1.1 million views in 11 hours on GODZILLA OFFICIAL by TOHO. The comments repeatedly point to Ghidorah's appearance, with viewers trading imagined dialogue between the monsters and marking the moment when the three heads appear.

Before that reveal, the trailer returns to the human stakes: survivors surveying destruction, officials confronting Godzilla's survival, and a pilot gathering with comrades to plan an operation. Pleas for a safe return sit alongside shots of Godzilla unleashing his atomic beam.

The film's synopsis places the story two years after the previous devastation, with Japan struggling to recover before another threat interrupts its hard-won peace. Yamazaki is credited with the writing, direction and visual effects. With the film now playing in theaters and IMAX, this trailer makes clear that Godzilla is not the only monster those rebuilding lives must face.
