FOX 11 Los Angeles has aired cellphone footage of a North Hollywood detention that spills into a confrontation with a man walking his dog. Reporter Gina Silva brings together the video, neighbors' accounts and a call from Mayor Karen Bass for the Attorney General's office to investigate.

The footage shows masked ICE agents restraining and dragging a man along a sidewalk. A dog walker nearby is pushed into a hedge. In the sequence replayed during the report, an agent points a gun inches from the bystander's face and later pepper-sprays him.

Witness Joseph Cevallos describes seeing the detained man dragged along the ground. Other neighbors speak about the agents' conduct and their concern about raids taking place close to home. The report also carries statements from Councilwoman Nithya Raman and Bass.

The upload drew roughly 130,000 views in its first day, more than ten times the channel's usual opening audience for regular videos.

Silva closes with important unanswered questions: the Department of Homeland Security had not responded to inquiries by airtime, and neighbors did not know the detained man's identity. Bass's request is a call for an investigation, not an announcement that one has begun.
