FOX 5 Washington DC reports that Secret Service agents arrested an armed man near the White House after an alleged threat against President Trump. The broadcaster says he was carrying an AR-15-style rifle and handguns.

The arrest shares the bulletin with a fatal stabbing inside the West End Library in Northwest Washington. Interim DC Police Chief Jeffery Carroll says investigators have no reason to believe the stabbing happened outside. A library official describes libraries as safe spaces and says incidents like this are increasingly rare.

The two stories named in the title arrive after the opening weather forecast and a report of shots fired near a football game at H.D. Woodson High School. The broadcast reports no injuries in that incident. The library coverage begins just under three minutes in; the White House arrest follows later.

The roundup also covers Trump's announcement that Stephen Miller will replace Susie Wiles as chief of staff, and Representative Thomas Massie's move toward impeachment articles against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth amid debate over military action involving Iran.

The upload drew about 29,000 views in its first 15 hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first-day audience for regular videos. An earlier FOX 5 roundup pairing the White House arrest with the library killing also attracted an unusually large audience.
