The Financial Express has posted a European Parliament exchange in which Polish MEP Ewa Zajączkowska-Hernik demands Ursula von der Leyen's resignation and challenges her over who bears the cost of war. The upload has passed a quarter of a million views in its opening 16 hours, far beyond the channel's usual start for regular videos.
This is older footage, not a new confrontation. The channel dates the debate to October 6, 2025, when parliamentarians were discussing a motion of no confidence against the European Commission president.
The remark behind the title comes in the opening teaser: "Maybe you could send your children, your husband to the front to fight." In her address, Hernik criticizes Europe's dependence on the United States and argues that EU trade and policy decisions have weakened its position.
The upload goes beyond the speech advertised in its title. Jordan Bardella follows with criticism of trade concessions, proposed budget increases, agricultural funding and migration policy. He urges support for the no-confidence motion, arguing that removing the Commission would protect Europe rather than damage it.
Parliament President Roberta Metsola closes the excerpt by announcing a Thursday vote. The video ends at that procedural step, without showing the vote or its outcome.
